A Vision for Hope, Healing & Connection

The Lighthouse Pavilion is a future vision of Om Home Healing Sanctuary, a dedicated space where people can experience the healing connection between animals, nature and community.

Inspired by the same bond that gave rise to Om Home, the Pavilion would create opportunities for women, children and others facing difficult circumstances to find moments of peace, connection and renewal in a safe and compassionate environment.

This project is currently in the vision and planning stage. Its development will depend largely on grant funding, charitable support and community partnerships.

Our Vision

The Lighthouse Pavilion would be located within Om Home’s 70-acre Northern Nevada sanctuary and designed to complement, not replace, the Sanctuary’s primary mission of providing lifelong care to rescued, displaced, senior and special-needs animals.

The vision is to create a welcoming space where carefully developed programs could bring people and animals together in meaningful ways while providing opportunities for education, reflection, personal growth and community connection.

Whenever possible, programs would be offered at little or no cost to participants, with grant funding and charitable support helping make them accessible to those who may benefit most.

Animal-Assisted Healing & Connection

Opportunities to interact with rescued animals in a peaceful setting that encourages compassion, connection and emotional well-being.

Educational Workshops

Hands-on experiences centered on animal care, empathy, responsibility and the unique relationships between people, animals and the natural world.

Restorative Experiences

Quiet, structured opportunities to spend time with animals and nature in an environment designed to encourage mindfulness, reflection and renewal.

Community Programs & Retreats

Small gatherings, workshops and restorative experiences designed to strengthen connection, encourage personal growth and bring people together.

Building the Vision

The Lighthouse Pavilion is an ambitious future project, and its development will require significant outside funding.

Om Home intends to pursue grants, charitable contributions, community partnerships and donated resources to help fund planning, construction, infrastructure and future programming.

The project would be developed responsibly and in stages as resources become available, with the welfare of the Sanctuary’s animals and the long-term sustainability of Om Home remaining central to every decision.
